Update Resubmission of PED Expansion Grant
\nNeeds to check school needs and grade of A or B for resubmission.
\nUpdate from Cutler Foundation
\nFoundation met last week. Once building is completed, will be able to refinance. Should
\nbe completed and moved in January, 2019.
\nBoard Training \u2013 Dr. Brian L. Carpenter
\nMary stated that Board needs 8 hours of training. Dr. Carpenter has been approved by
\nstate for training. Mary will have training at school site on August 31, 2018 and
\nSeptember 1, 2018.
\nDiscard List
\nThere are 11 items that the Board needs to approve for discard. A letter will be submitted
\nto State Auditor\u2019s office asking for approval to discard the items.

\nPrincipal\u2019s Report
\nConstruction Updates \u2013 New gym floor will have to be financed. There was a meeting
\nwith City Councilors to request $200,000 for floor. Gym will be rented out to other
\ncharter schools, neighborhood businesses, etc.
\nMary also stated that there will be several school fundraising events for gym floor. Also
\nfundraising events with PTA and 21 st Foundation.
\nTesting Presentation \u2013 Mary went over performance numbers by grade level.
\nRegistration Numbers \u2013 Total registration is 294. Would like a total of 300.
\nStaffing \u2013 Staffing is complete.
