Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is inviting New Mexico children to ask her questions about the COVID-19 pandemic that has dramatically disrupted their lives since mid-March and canceled in-person school through at least Labor Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The governor\u2019s staff will screen submissions for themes. If a child\u2019s question is chosen, parents or guardians will be invited to record the child asking their question for playback during a Facebook Live event in September (details to come).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The idea for the event sprang from a comment to the governor by a member of New Mexico\u2019s Economic Recovery Council that her 7-year-old son thought the world was ending.
