He stated the org chart has not been<br>finalized because the roles of the CEO and principals are being defined based on the School priorities<br>and needs. . The administration will be taking the next few months assessing the most appropriate roles<br>for each position.<br>COVID Policy<br>Mr. Peckens also updated the SAC on the latest COVID policy including ending the mask mandate as<br>allowed by the latest NM Public Health Order. The Governing Council (GC)<br>Additional changes will be<br>Temperature monitoring will not be required for students, staff, and visitors \u2013 this decision was<br>made when it was noted that no cases of COVID had been identified using this method<br>PMG will continue to have a presence on campus to test and identify illnesses<br>Although masks are not mandated the school will continue to recommend and support anyone<br>who chooses to wear a mask<br>Social distancing and outdoor lunches (when possible) will continue<br>Responses to SAC from November meeting<br>Mr. Peckens reported on the responses by the GC and School Administration (GC\/SA)<br>SAC: Calendar start date being different from APS is worrisome for parents, with no available<br>camps\/childcare.<br>GC\/SA response: SA is will be working on coordinating their schedule and APS and will also be<br>considering setting up childcare for the week before school starts if appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suggestions: Before\/After Care starting earlier to align with APS, and including a full day of childcare.<br>See above<br>SAC: Are lockers open for consideration in the future?<br>Especially with the Chromebook student backpacks are very heavy for our youngest students.<br>GC\/SA: Currently there is no plan to install lockers, due to space and security concerns additionally,many<br>of the textbooks may become electronic in the future.<br>SAC: Recommendation that the remote option continue into future years.<br>Discussed the difficulty of teaching both remote and in-person students simultaneously.<br>Even if remote learning does not continue in its current form, it is suggested that Google Classroom<br>continue to be adopted by all teachers for assignments\/lessons that students and parents can access in<br>the event of an absence.<br>GC\/SA: It is anticipated that some form of remote option will continue to be available for students who<br>are unable to attend classes even after the pandemic is over.<br>SAC: Does the school plan on opening a Kindergarten class? This may affect recruitment tactics.<br>GC\/SA: There is currently no official plan to add a Kindergarten class due to space limitations, however,<br>long tern plans do include the addition of a Kindergarten as well as increased enrollment for all grade<br>levels. Additional students will be dependent on the completion of building plans.<br>New Student Recruitment Efforts discussed at the November SAC meeting will be integrated into the<br>new recruitment plan if appropriate;<br>Target Demographics<br>Parents of 5th graders.<br>\u201cPeach Jar\u201d: flyers for APS schools and afterschool programs.<br>School of Choice Fair<br>Parade advertising? Twinkle Light, Pride. Banners\/Floats.<br>Tapping into local businesses for parent-employees.<br>Dentists\/Pediatrics\/Orthodontists offices<br>Recruitment Plan Review<br>Ms. Sedore introduced and reviewed the draft Recruitment Plan with the SAC.
