The SAC meeting was called to order by Lora Sedore at 5:30 PM via Zoom Video Conferencing.
Lora introduced Vicente to the SAC and each team member shared a bit of who they are with Vicente.
21 st Century School Update of Activities
Jeremy Peckens reported to the SAC the teachers were informed of the SAC\/Administration 2023-2024
school year calendar review at their Wednesday morning meeting. The teachers will be updated as our
fact finding and potential solutions are more defined. The teachers will be given a questionnaire to
enable input from them.
Jeremy and Lora updated the Governing Board on the discussions of the SAC. They would like to have
input from both the teachers and the parents and are very motived to help 21st Century find a solution
that will work best of all.
Jeremy shared a draft questionnaire that will be distributed to parents to help define the problem.
Rebecca shared a draft APS calendar of the 2023-24 school year. This new calendar indicated a later
start for APS which would mean more potential coverage of daycare of 21st students.
Action Item
Rebecca will provide the APS information to the SAC on their new proposed start and end dates for the
coming year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jeremy and Lora will present a summary to this discussion to the Governing Board.
The SAC will meet again on December 8 which is one week before the GC Board meeting.
