Spring Fling May 1st

Hello Dragon Families!


Spring Fling is also right around the corner! The date for Spring Fling is this FRIDAY May 1 from 5:30-7pm in the school’s parking lot. All booths are free, just the food costs money. In order to keep cost low for the PTA we are requesting donations by grade level please see below:

1st : bags of pre-wrapped fun sized candy any variety

2nd grade : buns ( please send in April 27- April 30)

3rd : hot dogs ( please send in April 27-April 30)

4th: small individual sized size chips

5th grade: small individual sized size chips

6th-8th grade – variety packets of 12oz soda cans

We will be accepting Spring Fling donations at the front of the school now, except we ask for buns and hot dogs to be dropped off the week of April 27- April 30.

PTA’s Turkey Bingo

The PTA would like to thank everyone that came out on Tuesday November 18 to play bingo with us! We had about 70 people come out and play bingo . 

Prizes that were won included ingredients to make cranberry sauce, biscuits, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, pies with whipped cream, turkey and ham! We even had a three way tie win for mashed potatoes! Our  winners included Dragon Trainers, Mrs. Valdez’s family and Mrs. Cavit.

We hope everyone had a fun time and enjoyed the free sandwiches, sodas, chips and cookies while playing. The canned vegetables that were collected as an entry fee are helping our own food pantry to help Dragon Families in need.

We would also like to thank Ms. Howell and her sixth grade helpers that helped collect the cans and give out bingo cards. Ms. Howell did a fabulous job presenting instructions on how to play bingo! 

We hope all of our Dragon Trainers and Dragon Families have a safe and relaxing Thanksgiving Break next week!

PTA’s Turkey Bingo

Hello Dragon Families!
The PTA is holding a Turkey Bingo Tuesday November 18 at 5:30pm in the cafeteria. We will be handing out free sandwiches, drinks and chips while supplies last during the bingo. Entry fee is two cans of vegetables per family. Come play bingo and have a chance to win sides for Thanksgiving Dinner with the grand prizes being a ham and turkey!
