Fall Festival

Hello Dragon Families!

The PTA is busy planning the Fall Festival for all our students. The event is October 30 from 6pm-7:30pm. There will be booths inside the school with arts and crafts, balloon animals, face painting, axe throwing, hoverboard, glow in the dark karaoke, and more! Outside we will have a trunk or treat in the parking lot, laser tag in sunny circle and a jumping castle near the kindergarten entrance of the school. We will have vendors selling items outside in the parking lot as well. Concessions will be in the cafeteria. The event is free, the only thing that costs money will be the food and what vendors are selling. We will be having a costume contest, 1st and 2nd prizes for best dressed K-5th grade and 6-8th grade at the event.

We need parent volunteers to help set up, run the food booth and breakdown. Please sign up if you can help: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040F4CAFAB2BABF85-66680108-fall

Balloons Aloft

Hello Parents,

Our school was selected for Balloons Aloft. What this means is that on the morning of October 2nd there will be a balloon on display in our sunny circle. The balloon is scheduled to launch between 7 am – 7:30 am, weather permitting. There will be donuts, cupcakes, and hot chocolate for sale. Students will still be able to get breakfast in the cafeteria.

Parents and families are welcome to attend. We ask that you please park along the street or the dirt lot across from the school. Access to our parking lot is being restricted to staff only. We appreciate your cooperation.

Since the balloon is going to be stationed in the sunny circle, morning drop off will be routed through the income support office parking lot. There will be signs and staff to help guide you. There is a map attached to show the flow of traffic.

I hope that everyone can attend. It should be a great ending to our week and a great beginning for Balloon Fiesta!
