Aftercare Options for 21st Century Families

Hello, Dragon families!  As you know, our After Care situation has changed this year, and our staff will no longer be running an after care program.  For the first week of school we hosted a temporary program until the City of Albuquerque’s Play+ staff could get up and running.  Starting on Monday, we will not have any 21stCPA staff-run after care nor “Overflow” program.  All families needing childcare after 3:30 will need to register with a program.  There are several options available, and they are listed below with their registration links.  Any student not registered in one of these programs who is still on campus after 3:30 will have their guardians called to come pick them up.  This includes any athletes whose practice does not start until later, they must also be registered in a program!

CABQ Play+ Program

This program has three sites that can serve 21st Century students listed below.  If you have any difficulties registering, please call them at (505)767-5885.

• 21st Century Campus – You will need to register in advance to utilize this program.  Students cannot use it without being registered first.  Register here!
• Alamosa Community Center – Our westside bus route TF14 stops at the Alamosa Community Center, which hosts the Play+ program.  Register here!
• McKinley Community Center – The Play+ program will bus children from school to the McKinley Community Center location after dismissal.  Register here!

YMCA 

The Y after school club at Horn Family YMCA will bus children from school to their location at 4901 Indian School.  More information here.
