Potential Snow Information

Good Morning Amazing Dragon Families!

Just a note for your information.  We are expecting snow later in the week.  Should there be a closure or delay we will follow Albuquerque Public Schools’ decision.  Announcements are as early as 6:00 am.  Should you decide to stay at home due to your travel situation, please have your students log in online.  If we are on a delay, start time would be 10:15 am rather than 8:15 am.  If students attend online we will not have to add a day at the end of the year.

To be clear for a closure or delay online classes will begin at 10:15 am.

Thank and be safe and healthy!
Mrs. Tarango

Family Science Night

Dragon Families,

Please join us for Family Science Night tonight by Zoom starting at 5:00pm. Email your students science teacher for details or questions you may have. Teacher emails are posted on our website under academics or in Plus Portals.

Thank you and stay safe and healthy.

On-Site COVID Testing

Good afternoon Dragon Families,

We are very fortunate to have onsite COVID testing available for all students and staff. Attached please find the instructions and QR code. You must register prior to testing. This is part of the state initiative “Test to Stay” program. Students exposed to COVID can test on days 1,3, & 5 and remain onsite for in-person learning if they are negative. We can also test symptomatic students onsite rather than automatically sending them home. In addition, we are also requesting you consider weekly surveillance testing as a precaution.

We are sending home flyers today as well as this post for your convenience.

If you have questions please call us 505-254-0280.

Fall Festival

We will be celebrating Fall Festival on Friday, October 29th. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS! On this day students are allowed to dress up in costumes as long as they are within the following guidelines:

NO PROPS
NO HATS
NO SPAGHETTI STRAPS
SKIRTS/SHORTS (must be longer than fingertips of arms at sides)
NO EXPOSED UNDERGARMENTS

Students need to follow the dress code in the student hand book. If students are not going to dress in costume they need to be in uniform.
