OSI Fee:
We will be starting the second quarter of the school year on Monday. As per this year’s OSI fee procedure, that means we need to collect the second quarter’s $20 OSI fee next week. Please send your student with cash or a check to be collected by their homeroom teacher. As a reminder this fee goes to cover transportation and venue costs for our OSI experiences.
Costume Rules:
Students will be allowed to dress up in costumes Friday, Oct. 24th, as long as they are within the following guidelines:
NO MASKS (facepaint and temporary hair color are allowed)
NO PROPS
NO HATS
NO SPAGHETTI STRAPS
NO SKIRTS/SHORTS (must be longer than fingertips of arms at sides)
NO EXPOSED UNDERGARMENTS
NO OPEN TOE SHOES/SLIPPERS, NO BARE FEET (must wear shoes)
Students need to follow the dress code in the student hand book. If students are not going to dress in costume they need to be in uniform. Please email your students’ homeroom teacher if you have any questions. We want the children to have fun, be safe and continue learning! Thank you for your help!

Dress Code
21st Century Public Academy requires students to wear a uniform. The uniform consists of tan, khaki, black or blue jean colored pants, shorts, skirts, or overalls, a white, gray, or purple collared polo shirt with the school logo or the approved school t-shirts with the school logo.
Students must wear appropriately fitted clothing. It cannot be excessively tight or revealing. When the arms are raised and the shirt reveals any skin, it is not to be worn. Undergarments may not be visible. Pants may not be excessively baggy.
Skirts and shorts may be checked for appropriateness by placing arms at sides. If the item is shorter than the tips of the fingers, it is too short. LEGGINGS, ATHLETIC SHORTS OR SWEATPANTS CANNOT BE WORN.
Repeated violations may result in disciplinary action as outlined in the Student Handbook.
Thank you for your help and cooperation.
