Every student will be going home tomorrow with a gallon bag full of games and ways to practice important reading skills. These bags will also contain reading incentives for your student to encourage them to practice reading often. We will be reading aloud some favorite books. We will also be talking about the important parts of reading and offering strategies to help your child become an even better reader!
In addition to the incentives included in the bag, students who attend will receive extra credit for attending.
It does not matter which session your student or students attend to get credit for the evening. They are welcome to attend any teacher’s session. This way if you have more than 1 child in 1st-5th grade you do not have to choose by grade level. All grade levels are welcome in every Zoom!
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow evening!

Good Afternoon Dragon Families!
Due to the current lifting of the mask mandate, 21st Century will proceed with this guidance. While masks are no longer required, they will be optional to students and staff. We strongly recommend that you continue to mask if you have any concerns, and the school supports such a decision. The testing company is now on campus daily from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm so we can test students and staff that have concerns or are experiencing symptoms. All other portions of the toolkit are still in place, i.e. the 5 day quarantine for exposure or testing positive. (See our website for the flow chart) I am still the COVID point of contact should you have any questions.
I want to express a tremendous amount of thanks to our families and staff for keeping their students’ home if they are experiencing symptoms or getting them tested. As a result of your diligence, we were never at a point to consider closure. Please continue this practice as we are not completely through this pandemic.
Be safe and healthy!
