Free and Reduced Lunches

Good Afternoon Amazing Dragon Families!

We wanted to reach out separately to let you know about food distribution.

We receive 5 days of lunches for our students that qualify once a week. On Monday, August 31st we will have 6 days due to Labor Day. Distribution will begin at 7:00 am and we will be in a separate area in the bus turnaround infront of the gym. There will be 5 days for each student that attends 21st Century.

Ms. Amanda Hebert is now our Food Services Manager and you can reach her at 21st Century at 505-254-0280 or ahebert@21stcenturypa.com if you have questions or are not able to pick up on Monday.

We have also attached another Free and Reduced Lunch Application and are asking that every family return a form either as you go through the chromebook pick up on Monday, August 31 or return with your homeroom forms. This is critical for additional funding opportunities outside of the Lunch Program.

Thank you all very much! We hope you are safe and healthy!

Kid’s COVID Questions

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is inviting New Mexico children to ask her questions about the COVID-19 pandemic that has dramatically disrupted their lives since mid-March and canceled in-person school through at least Labor Day.

Please help us spread the word that children can submit questions on this form, by emailing cyfd.comments@state.nm.us or by calling (800) 832-1321. The governor’s staff will screen submissions for themes. If a child’s question is chosen, parents or guardians will be invited to record the child asking their question for playback during a Facebook Live event in September (details to come).

The idea for the event sprang from a comment to the governor by a member of New Mexico’s Economic Recovery Council that her 7-year-old son thought the world was ending. Gov. Lujan Grisham called the boy, answered his questions and came away wanting to offer answers to other New Mexico children.

Dragons Wanna Rock!

Hey fantabulous Dragon families,

I know we are all stressed and feelin’ the strain these days, but I just wanted to share our music fundraiser with you.

There’s some really groovy stuff in the works including a connection to the Berklee School of Music in Boston, but as we can’t play, I am hoping to help each and every music student to get active with a really cool interactive online music theory program.

I have attached a link to our GoFundMe and would be ever so grateful for your support if you can.

Thanks so much for all you do and for your support of our Rockin’ Dragons!
