Spanish Language Club

Spanish Language Club will be hosted in Sra. Johnson’s room U-1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5 p.m. starting September 20th. There is a $35 fee to join. You are welcome to join now or after your sporting season is done.
With direct instruction, DuoLingo.com, and a lot of fun and games, your student can learn Spanish.   While our target audience is beginners, intermediate and advanced speakers of Spanish are welcome and appreciated. DuoLingo.com does a quick placement quiz that’s really fun and then designs a personalized curriculum so everybody can learn just right for them.
If you are bilingual and would like to help with Spanish Language Club, please let Sra. Johnson know. You are also VERY appreciated!
Feel free to email Sra. Johnson at kajohnson@21stcenturypa.com if you have any questions.

Evacuation DRILL on Wednesday, 5/18

Dear Parent(s) or Guardian(s):

The safety and welfare of our students and staff are our highest priority at 21st Century Public Academy. We practice safety drills throughout the year to help our students know what to do in an emergency. Throughout the year we have practiced 9 fire drills and 2 shelter in place drills according to the guidelines regarding emergency response drills.

The school is working closely with local authorities to correctly implement these procedures. The goals of the training drills are to improve our ability to protect students, save lives, and reduce injuries. These practices allow us to evaluate our emergency operation plan and improve our response skills.
