New Westside Bus Routes

Hello, Dragon families! Recently, Herrera Coaches (the company that runs our Westside busses) has made some changes to its routes, and we wanted to offer you the explanation that was given to us. As a result of doubling up at the Hannover stop and the former start times, the busses were often arriving at the school much too early and so were idling for 15-20 minutes before pulling into the school. Herrera made the decision to combine the Hannover stop into a single route, removing it from the bus14 route entirely. They also decided to push up the start time of each route by 20 minutes. Please follow this link to find the new route information for both busses: http://21stcenturypa.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Bus-Routes-1.pdf.

We apologize for the inconvenience this change may have caused our bus rider families.

Every student will be going home tomorrow with a gallon bag full of games and ways to practice important reading skills. These bags will also contain reading incentives for your student to encourage them to practice reading often. We will be reading aloud some favorite books. We will also be talking about the important parts of reading and offering strategies to help your child become an even better reader!

In addition to the incentives included in the bag, students who attend will receive extra credit for attending.

It does not matter which session your student or students attend to get credit for the evening. They are welcome to attend any teacher’s session. This way if you have more than 1 child in 1st-5th grade you do not have to choose by grade level. All grade levels are welcome in every Zoom!

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow evening!
