Good Morning Amazing Dragon Families!

We wanted to reach out to let you know about food distribution updates. Lunch distribution will be extended through the end of the school year.

Moving forward, families will have several options for picking up meal kits. Parents and guardians can now pick up meal kits for children 18 years of age and under at no charge to any family. This includes toddlers and preschoolers, children who do not attend APS schools, and those who normally do not qualify for free meals. No tickets required.

The website link https://www.aps.edu/schools/aps-reentry-plan/reentry-plan-news/aps-to-offer-free-grab-go-meals-to-all-children will provide your family with the updates and additional sites to pick up grab and go meals. We will no longer be providing meals from our 21st Century Public Academy location at this time.

The options are as follows:

Students can pick up six breakfasts and six lunches on Mondays only from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 4 p.m.-5:30 p.m. at the following schools:

Albuquerque High
Atrisco Heritage Academy
Cibola High
Del Norte High
Highland HS
Manzano HS
Rio Grande HS
West Mesa HS

Students can pick up meals 3 days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Each meal kit will include two breakfasts and two lunches at the following schools:

Dragon families!

We are taking part in the Extended Learning Time Program this year by offering 10 additional instructional days. The NM legislature funded 10 additional days for the 2021 school calendar. Please note the dates are October 8th and 9th, November 11th and 25th, April 2, May 27 and 28 and June 1, 2 3.

We have attached the school calendar and it is posted on our website.
